There many avenues for referral to Vision Exercise Physiology:
Your Doctor may refer you to see us under an Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) Plan to assist with management of a chronic disease. This service is bulk billed via your Medicare card when you present to Vision for a maximum of five visits per year. Call us for more information about this service or speak to your GP or Practice Nurse.
Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA)
DVA Health Cards (White and Gold) are accepted as payment upon a GP referral.
If you are a WorkCover Queensland claimant, you may be entitled to supervised strengthening sessions to aid in your recovery following a workplace injury. Your Case Manager can refer directly to us via email, fax or telephone. The same applies to Insurance claimants outside of the WorkCover scheme (third-party, etc).
All of our Exercise Physiologists and our Dietitian are registered to provide services under the National Disability Insurance Scheme, via referral from your GP or Care Coordinator. Call us now for further information.
We commonly receive referrals from physiotherapists, chiropractors and osteopaths to assist with accelerating your return to normal function following an injury, and we work hand in hand with them to reduce the risk of re-injury and aggravations.
Vision Exercise Physiology will also see clients who aren’t referred by any of the above methods, so feel free to give us a call or visit us at our clinic.
