Megan graduated from the University of Queensland in 2014 with a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science (Majoring in Clinical Exercise Physiology). Since working with Vision Exercise Physiology, she has provided services for Medicare, the Department of Veterans’ Affairs, Workcover Queensland and numerous private insurance companies. She has also developed strong professional relationships with a number of Physiotherapists and Chiropractors.
Megan specialises is both non-specific low back pain and low back injuries including spondylosis, spinal fusion and disc bulge. She has also been working within Women’s Health, helping to provided pelvic floor safe exercise options for ladies with urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, post-natal and other women’s health issues such as endometriosis. Megan also works in musculoskeletal rehabilitation for lower limb injuries including pre and post-operative total knee replacements and ACL reconstructions. Megan believes that no matter what the problem may be a functional approach to exercise is the key.
Megan’s interest stems from her own injuries she suffered during her sporting past, competing in both gymnastics and netball. Since moving to Toowoomba, she continues to play social netball.
