Alastair has always had a strong involvement in sport, and the body’s response to exercise and physical activity as a treatment modality. Having now graduated from the University of Queensland with Honours in Exercise and Sports Sciences in 2011, and having been in the health and fitness industry since 2007, Alastair’s reasoning has shifted; the patient’s response and progress toward their goals is his main reasoning and motivation for his career.
To see a client progress and grow to the point where they have achieved their health goal, whether it be rehabilitation, injury prevention or chronic disease management, brings him great joy and satisfaction. He is also currently working on submitting his research on body composition and its effects on the pharmacokinetics of caffeine for publishment.
Alastair is a very proud husband and finds his positive work and family balance to provide him with great strength and energy, which he can pass on to his clients and give them the resources and knowledge to achieve their ambitions, whether they are health related or otherwise.
